Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting
The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting is a four-year Professional Degree Program that focused on development of advanced skills in various painting techniques. The course combines both artistic and practical trainings to prepare students for career in realm of Visual Arts as professional artists, educators, art critics, art consultants, curators and many more. Students explore traditional and contemporary approaches to painting, learn to express ideas and emotions through visual art. The curriculum includes drawing, color theory, art history, art therapy, sculpture, printmaking, calligraphy, miniature, digital arts and various painting methods. Students also engage in studio practice, critique sessions and express understanding of personal, social, cultural and historical contexts that influence the art extents. The sense of completion will foster an ambiance of enjoyment and appreciation of fine arts, knowledge of artists and craftspeople. Program enables pupils to analyze, interpret and evaluate the form and content of artworks.
Minimum 4-Years (8 Semesters), Maximum 6- Years (12 Semesters)
Intermediate or Equivalent with minimum 2nd Division or obtained at least 50% marks are eligible to apply as per HEC guidelines.
